About Us

Discover our story, our mission, and the passionate team driving change across communities in Africa.

Our Story

Aspiring Women & Youth Advancement Initiative (AWAYAI) was founded with a profound conviction: that women and youths are the most powerful catalysts for community transformation. Operating primarily across Nigeria and expanding into Africa, we are a registered nonprofit dedicated to building an inclusive society.

By providing access to quality education, leadership development, entrepreneurship support, and strategic advocacy, we equip vulnerable groups with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and become leaders in their own right.

Our Mission

To empower women and youths through qualitative education, leadership training, entrepreneurship development, robust advocacy, and sustainable community initiatives.

Our Vision

To build an inclusive society where women and youths thrive optimally as the principal catalysts for social and economic transformation in Africa.

Our Core Values

These principles guide our decisions, actions, and interactions every single day.

Why AWAYAI Exists

Across Nigeria and Africa, systemic barriers limit the potential of women and young people. High youth unemployment, limited access to quality education, and gender inequalities hinder the social and economic development of entire communities.

AWAYAI exists to dismantle these barriers. We recognize that when a woman is empowered, her family and community thrive. When a youth is equipped with skills and opportunities, the future of the nation is secured.

We are not just a charity; we are a movement for systemic change, focusing on sustainable solutions rather than temporary relief.
